APPRECIATION AND REFLECTION

I would like to thank my parents and my brother for helping me finishing this assigntment.Iwould also like to thank my teacher,Pn. Ng for giving coaching me on
how to do this assigntment.I have learnt a lot of things such as new words and moral
values from the book.

Writing a letter to your favourite character

To Katya,

I like you very much.You are my favourite character because you are smart and beautiful.You taught me a lot of lessons and moral values in your story.I hope there are some storybook of you that i would love to read.

Similarities and differences

The similarities between Katya and Czar are that they are smart and they are russians.The differences between them is Katya is a woman,poor and patient.Czar is a man,rich and impatient.

Rate Of The Book

I would give 5/5 because it is an interesting book and should be read by other children.

What Did I Learn From The Story

I learn that we must be polite and if we are smart,we cannot be fooled by others easily.

The part I like The Most

The part i like the most is the part when Katya made a condition that she would take whatever she likes from the palace whenever she is no more living in the palace.Katya is an intelligent girl.

My First Blog

My name is Ishvinder Kaur.I am a 12-year-old girl.I study in Sekolah Kebangsaan Seri Bintang Utara.My favourite subject is English.I have a brother name Jagvinder Singh.He is 19 years old.My hobbies are swimming and reading books.When i grow up,I want to be a teacher.My goal for 2008 is to get 5 a's in my UPSR.

Summary of the story

This story is about a prince name Czar and a farmer who has a smart daughter,Katya.One morning,Czar went out of the palace.He felt very hungry.All of a sudden,he saw a farmer selling some breads.Czar bought some breads from him.The bread was delicious.Czar asked the poor farmer who baked the breads.The farmer said that his daughter,Katya baked the breads.Czar wanted to meet Katya.One day,the prince came to meet Katya.Katya was very clever and beautiful.Czar tried many times to outsmart her but she was too clever for him.Czar started to like her and wanted to marry her.Katya agreed but she made a condition that she will bring back the thing she love the most from the palace.Czar agreed and they married happily.One night,Czar was in a bad mood that he fought with Katya.Czar told the soldiers to bring Katya back to her father. She packed up her things into a big chest and went home with her father. When she reached home, she opened the big chest and her father was surprised. Inside the chest, laid the Czar asleep. He woke up and was angry. Katya reminded him about his promised.Czar was surprised and he promised he will never sent Katya back home again. He also admitted that Katya is the cleverest person in Russia and they lived happily ever after.
